Toby Potter is a Managed Accounts specialist with extensive experience in the development of retail financial services. He National Manager Platform Strategy and Managed Accounts for IOOF, a listed company with over $35bn in platform FUA and over $1.5bn in Managed Accounts. Previously, he was responsible for establishment one of the first MDA Operators and built that business to over $2bn in assets.

Brett Sanders, MC Brett Sanders has over 30 years’ experience in the Australian financial services sector. In the early stages of his career, Brett spent 12 years with the SEALCORP group, 5 years as General Manager and Director of ASSIRT, a leading provider of investment research to the financial services industry. Later, Brett spent nearly 5 years as Chief Executive of Grove Research & Advisory, an asset consulting firm specialising in servicing organisations with $10 million to $500 million to invest. Brett personally advised a number of the firm’s clients. Brett joined Centric Wealth in October 2009 as a consultant and was later made Director of Portfolio Construction and Management in October 2010, and was responsible for investment management and portfolio administration for over $4 billion of investor funds. Brett co-founded Philo Capital Advisers in late 2011 and had a key role in the design and operation of Philo’s highly successful managed discretionary account (MDA) services |

Adrian Rowley, Watershed Group Adrian is a Portfolio Manager within our Investment Team with a particular focus on the ASX100 and the tactical asset allocation process. With over 15 years experience in portfolio management, Adrian was previously the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for a boutique Melbourne advisory firm that managed $500M of client funds across all asset classes using a Managed Discretionary Account service. In this role Adrian chaired the Investment Committee (team of 6) and was responsible for asset allocation and model portfolio construction.Adrian is qualified as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)

Lukasz de Pourbaix CIO Lonsec Lukasz is responsible for harnessing Lonsec’s broad investment research and portfolio construction expertise delivering effective and efficient portfolio solutions to financial advisers. Lukasz is also chair of Lonsec’s Asset Allocation Investment Committee. Prior taking the CIO role Lukasz was Lonsec’s General Manger – Investment Consulting where he provided portfolio construction and manager selection advice to dealer groups, fund managers, super funds and private wealth institutions. Lukasz has over 15 year’s investment experience commencing his research career at ING Australia where he was Research Manager. Lukasz commenced his career in financial services with BT Investment Management. Lukasz holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and the CIMA designation. Ged Fitzpatrick is Senior Executive Leader, Investment Managers and Superannuation at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. In this role he is responsible for the regulation of fund management, custodial services and conduct and disclosure requirements for superannuation funds. Other responsibilities include an active international agenda, particularly through IOSCO's Committee on Investment Management and in the development of the Asia Region Funds Passport, and the regulation of emerging innovative business models such as Crowd-Sourced Funding and Marketplace Lending. |

Kate is based in Melbourne and has been a part of the Financial Advisers team since its formation in 2008. Kate is a lawyer with a background in financial services and corporate law. In the last year, Kate has had a focus on digital advice and is part of ASIC's Innovation Hub.

Trevor Clarke, Senior Manager Financial Advisers, ASIC Trevor is a Senior Manager in ASIC's Financial Advisers stakeholder team. Trevor is based in Brisbane and has been part of the Financial Advisers team since its formation in 2008. Trevor joined ASIC's FSR compliance team in 2001 and has had a number of roles involving financial services regulation since that time. Prior to joining ASIC, Trevor worked as a fund manager for Schroder Investment Management in London where responsibilities included asset allocation, client presentations, marketing, product design and market analysis.

Dan Miles, Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer Dan has been a member of the team that now forms Innova Asset Management since 2006. He was previously Investment Research Manager at RI Advice Group and prior to that a research analyst at Genesys Wealth Advisers. Dan holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance with Macquarie University. He is currently completing his Masters in Applied Finance through Macquarie where he was awarded the university prize for Risk and Portfolio Construction in 2009. Dan also holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Merit from the University of NSW and a Bachelor of Science, also from the University of NSW. Alex Hone, Chief Investment Manager and Chief Executive Officer, Atrium Investment Management Alex Hone has a celebrated career in asset management and investment spanning more than 18 years having worked with leading global firms in both Sydney and London. His experience has included establishing and developing funds management businesses that in turn developed global reputations for investment excellence. Prior to joining Atrium Investment Management, Alex was a Portfolio Manager with Magellan Asset Management. Other senior roles have included working with CP2, a specialist global investment advisory and management firm, as well as Schroders Investment Management Ltd, in London. Alex commenced his career in the Treasury division of the National Australia Bank.

Wes Gillett – Head of Marketing and Distribution, HUB24 Wes has been in the financial services industry for over 24 years, managing sales and marketing teams for several prominent organisations such as Asgard, Skandia, ING and KPMG. His experience spans administration, product, investments, advice and technology, and he has managed multi-million dollar client relationships for over 15 years. Wes has chaired platform investment committees, and been involved in product development and industry forums. He also brings substantial insight into the structure and drivers within the platform, superannuation and advice industry and their relationship to all participants, from manufacturers to end customers.
