Chetan is an investment professional with 18+ years of experience in the Australian financial services sector. He is immensely passionate about the capital markets and investments, and has worked in a variety of roles within the investment research / financial advice / wealth management sector.
Chetan has worked with Financial Advisers to develop investment portfolios for a broad range of clients, including retail clients, SMSF trustees, high net worth individuals, and retirees. The investment portfolios were tailored as per client requirements / objectives, and included unlisted Managed Funds and listed ETFs/Shares.

Before joining JANA, David worked as a Principal, Senior Investment Consultant at Mercer Investments responsible for consulting to large institutional investors across various client segments including superannuation, endowments & foundations, insurance and government in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to Mercer, David worked at Lonsec Investment Solutions as a Senior Investment Consultant with a focus on managed accounts and consulting to financial advice groups.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics & Finance) from Griffith University and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.

Jackie is the Director of Education, Engagement, and Events at Colonial First State, having been in this role for over six years. With extensive experience in both education and financial services, Jackie brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the team.
Her passion for financial literacy and education has been a driving force throughout her career. After working in the financial planning sector for over 15 years, Jackie retrained as an economics and business studies teacher in 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Diploma of Financial Planning, and an Adult and Secondary School Teaching degree.
In her current role, Jackie leverages her expertise to enhance the educational programs at Colonial First State. One of her key responsibilities is CFS 10x, an adviser-led program focused on helping advice businesses solve business challenges. More recently, 10x partnered with Microsoft and together launched an AI workshop focused on the financial planning industry.
Following the success and huge demand for these sessions, 10x ran a follow up series of masterclasses. Jackie is excited is excited to share her experiences and insights on how AI can be effectively used within a financial planning business to drive better outcomes and enhance client engagement.

Martin has 35 years of Financial Services experience, joining the industry as a trainee Business Development Manager in London in 1990.
Passionate about the industry, Martin has since that time held executive roles in Distribution, AFSL Management, combined with non-executive Director experience. He has also spent time working within advice businesses, including his own, and held the CEO role of an SMSF administration and technology business. This experience has allowed Martin to build his knowledge and expertise in client engagement and strategic planning and working with financial advisers to build engaged and profitable clients.
Immigrating to Australia in 2000, Martin has, and always, challenges his knowledge and experience and searches for new ways to learn and add value. As such, he has undertaken his MBA, is a graduate of the Australian Company Directors Course and is a certified Behavioural Sales Coach through the US based Management Research Group.
Joining Centric in February 2024 as Chief Client Officer and then promoted to Head of Centric in October 2024, Martin is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of the business, across platform and investment solutions. Martin is focused on using this experience to assist the team in delivering truly disruptive solutions in the Australian Financial Services market and to assist advisers to build stronger relationships with clients by enhancing their value proposition.

Michael leads JANA Wealth, managing sector engagement, including Family Offices. Michael is also chair of the JANA's Wealth Asset Allocation Committee.
He has a total of more than 36 years of industry experience. Prior to joining JANA, Michael was a Head of Private Investment Consulting at NAB.
He previously held the role of Head of Asset Allocation at UBS Global Asset Management in Australia and Global Head of Asset Allocation and Investment Strategy at Aberdeen Asset Managers in London.
He graduated with a BEc from the University of Adelaide, and subsequently joined the Department of Treasury in Canberra

Shailesh is a highly experienced investment management and asset consulting professional with over 21 years of experience in investment markets. Shailesh’s broad experience in the investment management industry spans multiple asset classes including fixed income, equities, alternatives, and private markets across analyst, researcher, and senior investment consultant roles.
Prior to joining Evidentia, Shailesh was a Senior Investment Consultant with Zenith Investment partners for 4 years advising some of the firm’s largest Private Wealth clients.
Shailesh also spent over 11 years with Lonsec Research in various roles and was most recently the Deputy Head of Active Manager Research and Head of Australian Equities. Shailesh started his finance career at NAB in a credit analyst capacity.

His experience in the wider investments market is extensive and his advice and experience is frequently sought after for his breadth and detail, plus his knowledge of the people in the industry.

Jenny Phimleut
IMAP Program Director
Jenny manages IMAP's program of conference events, webinars and publication, and liaises with sponsors, speakers
Jenny supports and organises IMAP special interest groups i.e. The Regulatory Group, and the Data Standards Group, and works closely with Toby, David and the IMAP team.
She is responsible for maintaining IMAP's digital presence, as well processes and policies as well as developing promotional material.

Lucie's role now includes social media such as IMAP's Linkedin profile, posts, and communications, the IMAP Independent Thinking podcast series, plus developing & supporting IMAP's services.
