David McDonald CFA

He has worked as an economist, investment strategist, and has extensive experience in equity portfolio management and analysis. He was previously the Chief Investment Strategist for Credit Suisse Private Banking in Australia.
He has worked in institutional asset management and private wealth in Australia and the UK, & started his career as an economist with the Australian government. David holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Economics (honours) from the Australian National University.
He is a CFA Charter holder and holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designation


Aaron Minney, CFA

Aaron is responsible for the development and dissemination of research on investment and portfolio construction strategies to deliver an appropriate income stream to retirees.
He is a frequent presenter on retirement issues and has published a range of papers and articles on retirement income strategies.
Aaron has 27 years’ experience as an investment strategist and researcher, across a wide range of asset classes.
In his previous roles across CFSGAM, IAG and Macquarie, Aaron has been responsible for the evaluation and strategic development of investment capability; portfolio management, asset allocation strategy; and an economic analysis across his career.
Aaron is an Honorary Fellow at the Macquarie Business School’s Applied Finance Centre where he is an adjunct lecturer in Advanced Investment Management.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2017, Alexandre spent four years with AustralianSuper as an Investment Strategist; and six years as a Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager with Credit Suisse in Europe, Asia and Australia.

Anthony joined MLC Asset Management’s multi-asset Capital Markets Research team in February 2021.
He has 21 years investment experience and is passionate about developing and managing innovative solutions aligned with investor objectives and helping everyday Australians secure their investment journey.
Anthony joins MLCAM from Australian boutique Clime Investment Management, where had overall responsibility for Clime’s investment team, strategies and performance outcomes. Here Anthony launched a suite of objective based SMA model portfolios.
He has held previous roles at State Street Global Advisors including Senior Portfolio Strategist – Asia Pacific, Head of Active Australian Equities and Senior Portfolio Manager. He has significant experience in domestic and international equities, return enhancing and risk reducing overlays and objective based strategy development.

Brad Matthews

1980s, Brad held various economist roles at St. George Bank. He then moved into executive
management positions at St. George, including being the Head of the Cards and ATMs

Prior to establishing his own investment consultancy business in 2015, Brad worked in

and Head of Investment Strategy for AMP Group financial planning licensees.
For the past 24 years, Brad has been editor of a newsletter known as “Plain English

Dale joined Spire Capital in March 2012 as an equal partner with a principal focus being developing the business strategy, building distribution and investor relations capabilities for the firm.
Dale has 24+ years of financial services experience having commenced his financial services career in 1989 with AXA and has had senior roles more recently as General Manger MLC Alliances (2000-2004) and before that with Ipac as Practice Manager (1995-2000).
Over the period of a decade at Ipac and MLC, Dale was integrally involved with their Investment teams in the development of investment communications for advisers and clients including assisting in simple communication of portfolio construction and implementation.
Dale is also the former and founding CEO of the Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL team, prior to that he was the GM of the Australian Football League in NSW/ACT and a member of the AFL National Executive team.

Daniel Choo is a key member of the Asia Pacific multi-asset portfolio management team.

Prior to Franklin Templeton/K2 Advisors, Felicity spent eleven years at Willis Towers Watson as an Asset Consultant and Actuarial Consultant in Australia and the UK.

Francyne Mu is a vice president, portfolio manager, and generalist research analyst for Franklin Equity Group. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2008, she was a senior investment manager at Pictet Asset Management and a vice president at Citigroup Asset Management, covering financials. She entered the financial services industry in 2000. Ms. Mu holds a B.A. and a B.Com (Hons.) from the University of Melbourne. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Isaac joined Oreana Financial Services in 2018.
He previously was Head of Capital Markets Research, Asia Pacific at Willis Towers Watson, and prior to that served as the Chief Economist for the NSW Treasury Corporation.
Isaac has experience working across portfolio management, risk management, economic research, investment strategy and central banking through Australia, the UK and Hong Kong.

Jan has 15 +years experience in global real estate markets and brings a wide range of skills to Resolution Capital, joining in 2007 as Senior Analyst & was promoted to Global Portfolio Manager in January 2010, and transferred to Real Assets Portfolio Manager in October 2018.
Jan has previously worked as an Analyst for LaSalle Investment Management in the Netherlands.

Before focusing on equity strategy, John worked as a fundamental analyst with Macquarie in Sydney, researching listed telecommunications companies. He has also held positions as a consultant with IBM and as an engineer with Honeywell.
John holds an MCom and a BEng (Hons) from the University of New South Wales. He is a CFA charterholder.

Joseph is responsible for overseeing the investment process, risk management and management of the portfolios.
Joseph spent 17 years at Platinum Asset Management, in which he was the Portfolio Manager for the Platinum Asia Fund, Head of Asia Equities Research and a member of the Management Committee of Platinum. On the investment side he was responsible for the management of Asia portfolios and the Asia Team as well as contributing to the idea generation of broader global portfolios. Joseph was previously covering Healthcare stocks as an analyst at Morgan Stanley and worked as a Medical Doctor prior to that.
He holds a degree in Master of Business Administration (AGSM), Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (U Syd) and is a CFA Charterholder.

In late 2002 Kieran moved back into the Financial Services industry in the field of mortgage origination and joined Centric Wealth in late 2003. Kieran roles in Centric included Head of Lending, Head of Treasury Services and subsequently Head of Products and Services.

Mrs Petering joined BlackRock in 2017 as Head of Institutional iShares, Australasia, leading the education efforts for institutional adoption of ETFs. Prior to BlackRock, Mrs Petering was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs based in Sydney for 13 years, most recently in Fixed Income Currency and Commodities where she was responsible for cross-asset institutional derivative sales including rates, longevity/mortality, alternative risk premia and fund derivatives. Earlier, she led the Equity Derivative structuring and sales business at Goldman Sachs focusing on the private wealth segment. Mrs Petering began her career at Merrill Lynch where she worked for 5 years in both Australia and Hong Kong in the institutional Equity Derivatives sales and structuring team, and also the Equity Capital Markets convertible origination and syndicate teams.

He brings over 15 years of funds management experience having held senior portfolio management roles within investment and superannuation organisations.
In Will’s last role as Senior Investment Manager at REST (Super Investment Management), he was responsible for portfolio construction, risk management and analysing Australian large and small-cap equities. Prior to REST, Will spent time at Wallara Asset Management as a Senior Investment Manager and at AMP Capital where he was Lead Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Sustainable Alpha Funds.
During his time at AMP Capital, Will became a CFA charterholder. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
