Advice business transformation through portfolio risk technology
In this session Damien Mooney from BlackRock will explain why risk matters and how risk technology is improving the adviser/client experience. Drawing on experiences from around the globe, the session will outline why understanding risk in portfolios is more vitally important than ever before, and why wealth management firms can and should be using sophisticated technology already in use by investment management firms for decades to advise on investor portfolios. The session will outline examples of how risk technology is enabling better outcomes for advised clients, greater efficiency in how advisers run their practices and crucially how this technology is improving advice firms’ ability to monitor their business for regulatory purposes.

The paper-based fact find has been used by advisers for more than 20 years. ifactFind is a method of recording, updating and tracking information that can be exported (API or CSV) into (technically) any financial planning. It wasn't available -so i built it! Presented by Paul Moran of Moran Partners Financial Planning
