Marie-Anne is GM of Stone and Chalk based in Sydney and is our MC for InvestTech 2018.
Stone and Chalk is a not for profit organisation with a focus on helping fintech startups commercialise and grow. The Sydney office has over 96 startups and 500 residents over two floors. The Mellbourne site has 180 residents and growing.
Previously Marie-Anne spent 10 years at BT Financial Group where she worked exclusively in superannuation in a range of sales operations, relationship management and business development roles. Marie-Anne worked in professional services before joining BT.
Michael McQueen, award-winning speaker, trend forecaster and best-selling author who has helped some of the world’s most successful brands navigate disruption and maintain momentum.
Michael is a TV commentator, and a familiar face on the international conference circuit (has shared the stage with Bill Gates, and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak). He was recently named Australia’s Keynote Speaker of the Year.
John is CEO and Director of MGD Group, a privately owned and proudly self-licensed multi-disciplinary financial services firm. MGD has dedicated specialists across wealth management, taxation and accounting, self-managed superannuation fund administration, advisory, risk and succession.
Stuart, a founder of IMAP, has combined his extensive investment industry experience with unconstrainted thinking to become Australia’s leading knowledge on managed account operations. Stuart is passionate about the growing consumer influences on the investment industry globally, and with Financial Simplicity, has helped enable over $30Bn in a myriad of managed account propositions (SMA, IMA, MDA, UMA) both here in Australia and internationally.
Shannon has over 17 years’ experience in Financial Services in Australia and abroad. Prior to WealthO2, Shannon was Managing Director Australia at Calastone (a global top 50
Fintech innovator company) and led the strategy, sales and growth
initiatives by working closely with the Asset management, Banking and
Advisor community. Prior to Calastone, Shannon was employed by Royal Bank of Canada.
Carl is Chief Commercial Officer for Financial Simplicity. He's spent over 25 years servicing financial services firms primarily in London, Chicago and Sydney. He's held senior management roles at ABN AMRO, and Pershing helping complex financial services firms transform their businesses to embrace a fee based, wealth management model. Prior to joining Financial Simplicity, Carl was the Chief Relationship Officer responsible for all new and existing client business as well as the strategic direction of BNY Mellon – Pershing’s Australian Business
Enda has recently been appointed as the first Mason Stevens Chief Technology Officer to drive innovation. Enda Mahoney has 23 years of experience with fintech start-ups Bravura Solutions and CXi-Software and Impact investing designing and developing innovative platforms and teams. He also has a financial background with Macquarie Bank, nabtrade, BlackRock and Bankers Trust.
Kevin Bungard is an industry expert in cloud technology, with over 30 years’ experience developing software solutions in the superannuation administration industry. Kevin joined Class in 2009 and was appointed CEO in 2014. He has overseen the commercialisation, launch and growth of Class Super, the leading cloud SMSF administration solution.
Adrian has over 20 years experience helping advice businesses of all sizes leverage technology for growth. In his role as Practifi's Chief Commercial Officer, Adrian drives the go-to-market strategy and product direction globally, gaining deep insight into the needs of advisers the world over. He is a regular visitor to the stage for keynote and panel sessions in Australia & the US on how to make technology deliver value.
Andrew’s background is in funds management, including; Deutsche Asset Management, MLC Investment Management and INVESCO. Andrew and the Fincast team have created an interactive goal based advisory platform for advisers to use with clients, that is designed to increase client engagement and help advisers to more easily create and execute robust solutions, matched to prevailing market conditions. Andrew is also the Director of Quilla, a leading provider of managed account and investment solutions.
Martin has 26 years of industry experience spanning both Australia and the UK markets and held national roles in both product distribution and AFSL management. Martin has attained his MBA, is a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors and is an accredited behavioural sales coach.
His role at Praemium includes the responsibility of mentoring and managing the distribution team to grow the Praemium platform and suite of solutions by helping advisers build more profitable, engaging and sustainable businesses.
Wayne leads the team developing Connectivity Services for Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS). Connectivity Services include the industry leading External Systems Interface (esi) data feeds which allow financial advisors to access their clients’ account information on the software platform of their choice, empowering them to better manage their clients’ finances.
Wayne’s current focus is to ensure that these services continue to be industry leading and meet the needs of the ever changing financial management industry and regularity environment. He has 15 years of retail banking experience.
Jamie is responsible for leading Morningstar’s business in Australia and New Zealand.
He has held senior product roles at Morningstar including Head of Products and Client Solutions, Asia-Pacific; responsible for Morningstar’s product development and client solutions activities in the region. Prior to that Jamie was based in Morningstar’s London office and served as Head of Global Data and Research Products.
Jamie has over 20 years of experience in the financial information and research industry with management roles spanning product, operations, sales and technology. He began his career as the founding employee of Aspect Financial in 1997 – a provider of equity data and research.
Andrew Braun is head of marketing at netwealth. He has spent over 15 years working with digital technologies as a technician, strategist and marketer. He is passionate about how the internet and new technologies influence us, our relationships and how we do business

For over 18 years Euan has been working with advice businesses to build commercially sustainable Advice Businesses while providing quality and strategic advice to their clients.
He is passionate about helping Business Owners unlocking the potential both in their businesses but also with their clients.
Toby has championed IMAP's mission for a number of years and is a key contributor for IMAP (along with others) in the representation to ASIC on recent changes to the MDA regulations and ongoing regulatory matters.
His experience in the wider investments market is extensive and his advice and experience is frequently sought after for his breadth and detail, plus his knowledge of the people in the industry.
His working experience includes key roles for NAB, IOOF, Morningstar, Managed Accounts, SFG Australia
Steph Sandoval has been with Class for 5 years, working as a software developer in both data feeds and the Class Super product development team. In June of this year Steph moved to the role of Product Manager for the Feeds and Automation team to help drive the product strategy for automation at Class. Prior to this Steph was part of the engineering team at Shoes of Prey, an Australian start-up company after graduating from Computer Science and Mathematics at UNSW.
Shane Muscat is the Head of Strategic Sales at HUB24 and forms part of the HUB24 sales leadership team. Prior to joining HUB24 Shane worked with Colonial First State for 15 years as their Head of Institutional Sales.
Shane has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years predominantly in the Wrap Platform space and has been involved in the establishment and success of both the Macquarie and Colonial Wrap platforms.
A core responsibility of Shane’s role at HUB24 is the development and implementation of large sales initiatives to continue supporting the HUB24 growth story.
